Rob Lubin is a Democrat running for Congress, trying to flip New York's Second Congressional District from red to blue.

The native-born New Yorker now living in Lindenhurst will turn 30 years old before Election Day. He joined Rich Barrabi to discuss the race and his plan for the district.

News 12 invited Lubin and incumbent Rep. Andrew Garbarino to the News 12 Studio in Bethpage for a debate, but Garbarino declined to appear.

A spokesperson told News 12:

"Unfortunately, due to the congressional calendar, Rep. Garbarino will be unable to participate in this debate."
