Hundreds attend wake for NYPD officer killed in nail salon crash

Members of the NYPD flooded the New Hyde Park Funeral Home to pay their respects to Officer Rennhack and support her husband, who she worked in the same precinct with.

Hundreds of people attended the wake of NYPD Officer Emilia Rennhack Friday.
Rennhack was one of four people killed when a vehicle driven by an alleged drunk driver crashed into a Deer Park nail salon a week ago.
Members of the NYPD flooded the New Hyde Park Funeral Home to pay their respects to Officer Rennhack and support her husband, who she worked in the same precinct with.
"He's going through so many emotions of loss of his wife and our family in blue is mourning right now," New York City PBA President Patrick Hendry said.
Several streets in New Hyde Park will be closed Saturday ahead of Rennhack's funeral.
Lakeville Road from Whittier Avenue to Park Avenue, as well as Lowell Avenue from North Seventh Street to Lakeville Road will be closed in both directions from 11 a.m. through the duration of services
