Maverick is a 2-year-old border collie who chases geese for a living.

He and others like him work to keep parks and golf courses free of the birds who often congregate where people are gathered for fun in the sun and great outdoors.

His dogs are specially trained to chase geese away from areas like golf courses and parks.

He said no geese are ever harmed.
