Three people accused of driving while intoxicated were arrested Wednesday night in Patchogue, according to police.
Authorities say officers were conducting a sobriety checkpoint operation at Waverly Plaza between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m.
The operation was part of an ongoing holiday crackdown targeting alcohol and drug impaired driving. Over 350 cars went through the checkpoint during that time period.
The suspects included Jessica Vanegas, of Bay Shore, Kasian Kader Masthan, of Deer Park, and Jeffrey Sanchez Alvarenga, of Brentwood.
