Police say three children and two adults were injured in a crash in St. James.
According to police, the incident happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
News 12 has been told Jean Rendel was driving his three kids on Middle Country Road near the intersection of Lake Avenue when his car hit a Chevrolet Sonic.
The driver of the Chevy, Marek Dekornic, 68, of Port Jefferson, has serious injuries.
Rendel and his children, ages 7, 9 and 11, are expected to be OK.
