7h agoPolice say two people were hospitalized after a two-car crash on the Long Island Expressway in Yaphank.
The crash happened westbound between exits 66 and 67 just before 1 p.m., according to police.
Police say one car overturned as a result of the crash.
The westbound lanes were temporarily closed, but opened back up just after 5 p.m.
They say one of the two people taken to the hospital sustained serious injuries.
