A water main break disrupted the water supply Tuesday at two schools in the Massapequa School District.
The district says the incident resulted in limited access to drinking and sanitation water.
Students at Berner Middle School had an early dismissal time of 1:30 p.m.
Unqua Elementary School was also affected, but the facilities team ensured access to the restrooms for students. Students there were dismissed at normal time.
After-school and evening activities at both schools were canceled.
Liberty Water says the water main break has been repaired.
The district says students will have a normal school day on Wednesday.
