Thanksgiving comfort food has gone viral - and has Long Islanders flocking to Pino's Pizza in Deer Park.

Paul Barbieri says they made too many turkeys for the holiday last year at his Italian market Salpino, which is down the road from his pizzeria.

“I don’t know what to do with it and I’m like let me try to make a pizza with it, and the rest is history," says Barbieri.

They put the Thanksgiving pizza pie on social media and within two days got five million hits.

Now, the orders are pouring in for the viral pizza; and it’s not only Long Islanders that can’t get enough, but people also travel hours just to gobble down on a holiday slice.
