No one was injured when a fire started at an Oceanside home this morning, according to fire officials.
Members of the Oceanside Fire Department were assisting with a massive three-alarm house fire in Island Park a few miles away when they got the call.
The fire engulfed the second floor of the home at 2 Martin Court, according to Oceanside Assistant Fire Chief Sean Lynch.
No one was home so crews forced their way into the house and were able to get the fire under control before it spread.
"With the assistance of five other departments we got the manpower here on the scene we needed to put the fire out," he said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
