Authorities say a man was charged with murder in the death of his 4-year-old son in Franklin Township.

Sean Tate, 36, was arrested earlier this week.

Franklin Township police found the child's body in a hotel room last February.

Authorities say Tate told police his son fell off the toilet two days earlier and hit his head on an AC unit the night before the child was found unresponsive.

The 4-year-old’s death was ruled a homicide earlier this month.
